Most slow cooker recipes call for a 6 to 8 hour cook time, which isn’t ideal for families who are away from home for 10 or more hours per day. That’s because if you slow-cook food longer than the recipe says, your food could overcook or turn out mushy. With the IntelliTime™ Slow Cooker, that problem is permanently solved.
How It Works
The IntelliTime™ Slow Cooker offers an intelligent mode that determines the most appropriate temperature for the amount of time you program — anywhere from 4 to 12 hours. Simply add the ingredients, set the number of hours to cook based on when you want the food to be ready, and the cooker automatically adjusts the heat level to prevent overcooking. When the cooking time has ended, it switches to WARM mode for up to 4 hours. Your meal will be cooked the way you want it; no more “mush” or dry, overcooked food.
The IntelliTime™ slow cooker also offers a traditional Manual mode, with heat settings of WARM, LOW, MEDIUM, and HIGH. This mode is ideal for foods with cooking times of less than 4 hours, recipes such as desserts and egg dishes, or when you simply don’t need to program the slow cooker.
