Watermelon Lemonade
Ingredients
Simple Sugar Syrup:
- 1 3/4 cups water
- 1/2 cup sugar
Lemonade:
- 4 cups (about 2 lbs) seedless watermelon, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 2 cups Simple Sugar Syrup
- 1/2 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
- Ice cubes
- Lemon wedges
Directions
- To make Simple Sugar Syrup, bring water and sugar to boil in medium saucepan over high heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Refrigerate until cold.
- Place watermelon pieces, Simple Sugar Syrup and lemon juice in blender jar.
- Blend on HIGH until smooth.
- Fill tall glasses with ice. Pour Watermelon Lemonade over ice and garnish glasses with lemon wedges.
