Tex-Mex Beef Barbecue
Ingredients
Recommended Hamilton Beach® Product: Slow Cooker - 6 or 7 Quart Size
- 1 brisket (6 lbs.) of beef
- 2 bottles (18 oz. each) hickory-smoked barbecue sauce
- 2 envelopes (1.25 oz. each) chili seasoning
- 2 teaspoons chopped garlic
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 cup frozen chopped onion
Directions
- Combine all ingredients, except meat, in slow cooker. Stir well.
- Add meat and stir well to coat.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 10 hours or HIGH for 5 hours.
- Remove the meat and shred. Return the meat to the slow cooker. Stir well. Serve on soft rolls.
