2 cans (53 ounces each) pork and beans in tomato sauce, drain 1 can
2 cans (15.5 ounces each) northern beans, drained
1 large sweet onion, chopped
1 small jalapeno, minced
½ cup molasses
3 tablespoons packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons yellow mustard
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon coarse black pepper
Chopped cooked bacon for garnish
Directions
In a slow cooker crock, stir together beans, onion, jalapeno, molasses, brown sugar, mustard, salt and pepper.
Cover slow cooker and cook on HIGH for 5 to 6 hours or LOW for 11 to 12 hours or until sauce has slightly thickened. Sprinkle with bacon before serving.
