Rice Cooker Kielbasa and Sauerkraut
Ingredients
1 jar (28.5 ounces) German-style sauerkraut
1 large red apple, cored and diced
3 tablespoons apple juice
½ teaspoon caraway seeds
½ teaspoon coarse black pepper
2 packages (14 ounces each) beef kielbasa
Directions
- In cooking pot of rice cooker, combine sauerkraut, apple, apple juice, caraway seeds and black pepper.
- Arrange kielbasa in steamer basket. Place in rice cooker and close lid.
- Select HEAT/SIMMER and set for 45 minutes.
