Pressure Cooker Easiest Ever Baby Back Ribs
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon packed dark brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- ¾ cup beef broth
- 3 pounds baby back ribs
- 1 cup barbecue sauce, divided
Directions
- In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, salt, paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, black pepper and cayenne pepper. Rub mixture over the ribs. Cut rack into 4 pieces.
- Remove lid of pressure cooker. Add beef broth and ribs. Pour ½ cup of the barbecue sauce over the top of the ribs.
- Place lid on pressure cooker, turn lid to lock and move steam release valve to closed position.
- Press MEAT/STEW mode and adjust cooking time to 30 minutes.
- When cooking has finished, allow a natural pressure release.
- Remove lid of pressure cooker. Line a baking pan with aluminum foil. Remove ribs from pressure cooker and place on foil-lined baking pan.
- Heat oven to broil. Broil ribs 2 to 3 minutes or until ribs begin to brown. Brush ribs with remaining sauce.
Serves: 4
Test Kitchen Tip: If using MANUAL mode, select HIGH pressure and set for 30minutes. When finished cooking, allow a natural pressure release.
