Recipe - Pineapple Mango Smoothie Bowl

  • 1/3 cup coconut water 
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks 
  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks 
  • 1 medium banana 
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed 
  • 1 scoop collagen powder (optional) 

Topping Suggestions:

  • Fresh pineapple and mango pieces 
  • Shredded coconut 
  • Sliced banana 
  • Chopped macadamia nuts 


  1. Place 1/3 cup coconut water and frozen pineapple chunks in blender jar. Blend until smooth. Add frozen mango, banana, ground flaxseed and collagen powder, if using. Blend until smooth.  
  2. Pour into a bowl and top with sliced fruit, coconut and nuts. 

Serves:  1

Test Kitchen Tip: 

  • Fruit may blend better if thawed in the microwave for about 15 seconds. Slightly thawing the fruit yields a better result than adding more liquid to the blender jar. 
  • Blenders differ by size and shape of the jar, the type of blender, and the overall power. Some blenders work better adding ingredients a few at a time, whereas other blenders work better adding all the ingredients at once. You may need to experiment to get the perfect consistency. Smoothie bowls are thick and creamy and meant to be eaten with a spoon.
