Chocolate Spritz Cookies
Ingredients
Recommended Hamilton Beach® Product:
Stand Mixers - 1 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup cocoa
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Place margarine and both sugars in large mixing bowl. Cream together on medium high speed until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition. Add vanilla.
- Mix together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt, stirring until well blended. Gradually add flour mixture and beat well. Dough will be stiff.
- Assemble and fill cookie press with dough; use desired disc. Press cookies on ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until slightly brown around edges.
