From The Hamilton Beach Test Kitchen

Added by Lynne

  • 1/4 cup 100% cranberry juice
  • 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/4 cup frozen blackberries
  • 1/4 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1/2 medium banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen dark cherries
  • 1/4 cup low-fat Greek vanilla yogurt
  • 1 scoop collagen powder, optional

Topping Suggestions:

  • 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
  • Sliced strawberries
  • Blackberries
  • Raspberries
  • Bananas
  • Drizzle of honey

  1. Place ¼ cup cranberry juice and frozen strawberries in blender jar. Blend until smooth. Add frozen blackberries, raspberries, and banana. Blend until smooth. Add cherries a few at a time through filler cap and continue blending until smooth. Add collagen powder, if using, and blend until combined.
  2. Pour into a bowl and top with sliced strawberries, bananas, walnuts, blackberries, raspberries and a drizzle of honey.

Serves:  1

Test Kitchen Tip:

  • Fruit may blend better if thawed in the microwave for about 15 seconds. Slightly thawing the fruit yields a better result than adding more liquid to the blender jar.
  • Blenders differ by size and shape of the jar, the type of blender, and the overall power. Some blenders work better adding ingredients a few at a time, whereas other blenders work better adding all the ingredients at once. You may need to experiment to get the perfect consistency. Smoothie bowls are thick and creamy and meant to be eaten with a spoon.
