In a non stick pan sprinkle & spread the sugar. Allow the sugar to melt and caramelize on low heat. Do not stir just swirl the pan to ensure the sugar caramelizes evenly. Add cream and mix it well. Once the cream is completely incorporated remove from heat and add a dollop of butter.
Remove the sauce into the jar. Peel the bananas and add it to the jar. Add a vanilla extract and roasted hazelnuts. Using the Manual mode on high speed blend the contents into a smooth puree. Remove the spread from the jar into a bowl. Spread it on sliced bread and serve.
You can store the spread for up to a week in the fridge.
