  • 3 ounces frozen acai puree, thawed 
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries 
  • 1/2 cup spinach 
  • 1/2 medium frozen banana 
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter 
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed, optional 

Topping Suggestions:
Granola, blueberries, sliced almonds and sliced bananas


  1. Place acai puree, frozen blueberries, and spinach in blender jar. Blend until smooth. Add frozen banana, almond butter, and ground flaxseed, if using. Blend until smooth.  
  2. Pour into a bowl and top with granola, blueberries, chopped almonds and sliced bananas. 

Serves:  1

Test Kitchen Tip: 

  • Fruit may blend better if thawed in the microwave for about 15 seconds. Slightly thawing the fruit yields a better result than adding more liquid to the blender jar. 
  • Blenders differ by size and shape of the jar, the type of blender, and the overall power. Some blenders work better adding ingredients a few at a time, whereas other blenders work better adding all the ingredients at once. You may need to experiment to get the perfect consistency. Smoothie bowls are thick and creamy and meant to be eaten with a spoon.
