Acai Power Smoothie Bowl
Ingredients
Recommended Hamilton Beach® Product: Blend & Store System
- 3 ounces frozen acai berry puree, thawed
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1/2 cup baby spinach
- 1/2 medium frozen banana, cut into chunks
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
Topping Suggestions:
Granola, blueberries, sliced almonds and sliced bananas
Directions
- Add ingredients into blender jar in order listed.
- Blend using Smoothie program, if available. Alternately, add all ingredients to blender except almond milk. Blend on high until mixture is smooth, adding almond milk as necessary to achieve desired consistency.
- Pour into a bowl and top with granola, blueberries, sliced almonds and sliced bananas.

Test Kitchen Tip:
- Add your favorite boost like chia seeds, flaxseeds, collagen powder or protein powder. If using these boosts, you may need to adjust the consistency with a little more liquid. Experiment to find the consistency you prefer.
- Fruit may blend better if thawed in the microwave for about 15 seconds. Slightly thawing the fruit yields a better result than adding more liquid to the blender jar.
- Blenders differ by size and shape of the jar, the type of blender, and the overall power. Some blenders work better adding ingredients a few at a time, whereas other blenders work better adding all the ingredients at once. You may need to experiment to get the perfect consistency. Smoothie bowls are thick and creamy and meant to be eaten with a spoon.
