Ingredients

Recommended Hamilton Beach® Product: Blend & Store System

  • 8 medium tomatillos, about 11 ounces
  • 1 medium white onion, about 9 ounces, cut into 8 pieces
  • 2 jalapeno peppers, halved
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 3 stems cilantro, plus more for garnish
  • Salt, to taste

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients in blender jar in order listed.
  2. Blend on Dip Program, if available. Alternately, blend on high until desired consistency is reached.
  3. Adjust salt to taste. Serve in a bowl garnished with additional cilantro.

Serves: 6-8

Test Kitchen Tip: 

  • This is terrific served with tortilla chips or used as a sauce.
