Recipe - Taro Yam Pasta

Ingredients

  • 580 g all-purpose or semolina flour ⁣ 
  • 20 g Lilac Taro Yam powder ⁣ 
  • 160 ml water ⁣ 
  • 1 large egg ⁣ 
  • 1 tsp olive oil

Directions

  1. Mix the flour with taro yam powder. If you want to skip the powder, just use 600g flour.
  2. Turn on the pasta maker. Tare scale to zero. Start adding the flour mixture. The display will show you in grams exactly how much flour you added. ⁣ 
  3. Close the lid, press PASTA, then START. The pasta making/mixing process will start, and this is when you need to add the water, egg and olive oil mixture gradually through the holes of the closed lid. ⁣ 
  4. You don’t have to perform any other action after this point. Pasta maker will⁣ finish mixing, wait 5 minutes and then start extruding your pasta. ⁣ 
  5. You can prepare the pasta right after it extrudes or freeze. 

Makes: 4-6 servings
