Pressure Cooker Cranberry Steel-Cut Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cups steel-cut oats
  • 1/2 cup sweetened dried cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Remove lid of pressure cooker. Place all ingredients in cooking pot and stir to combine.
  2. Place lid on pressure cooker, turn lid to lock and move steam release valve to closed position.
  3. Press WHOLE GRAIN mode and adjust cooking time to set for 13 minutes.
  4. When cooking has finished, press steam release button to quick release pressure. Stir mixture before serving. Serve with milk and toppings as desired.

Serves: 6-8

Test Kitchen Tip: If using MANUAL mode, select HIGH pressure and set for 13 minutes. When finished cooking, press steam release button to quick release pressure.
