Ingredients

  • 6 fresh jalapeños, halved lengthwise, seeds and membranes removed
  • 4 oz reduced-fat cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup plain non-fat Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup shredded reduced-fat cheddar cheese (or Mexican blend)
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • ½ cup whole wheat panko breadcrumbs

Directions

  1. Add cream cheese, Greek yogurt, cheddar, green onions, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to a medium bowl. Stir until smooth.
  2. Spoon mixture into jalapeño halves, filling generously.
  3. Sprinkle panko breadcrumbs evenly over the tops. Lightly mist with cooking spray.
  4. Place stuffed jalapeños in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  5. Cook in the air fryer at 375°F for 8–10 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.

Makes: 6 servings (2 poppers each serving)
