Hasselback Ham with Pineapple

	Ingredients
11 to 12 pound fully cooked spiral-cut ham
4 cans (20 ounces each) sliced pineapple, drained, reserve ½ cup juice
2 cups packed light brown sugar
 2 teaspoons ground ginger
	Directions
- Remove rack from roaster oven. Pour 2 cups of water into the insert pan, cover with lid and heat roaster oven to 325°F.

- Place ham cut-side down on roaster oven rack. Insert 3 pineapple slices between each slice of ham. Cut slices to fit around bone.

- Use roaster rack to carefully lift ham and place in roaster oven. Cover. Bake for 1 hour.

- While ham is cooking, in a small bowl, combine reserved pineapple juice with brown sugar and ginger to make glaze.

- Remove cover and spoon about one-third of glaze over ham. Replace cover and bake 1 hour longer.

- Remove cover and spoon another more glaze over ham. Bake for 10 minutes to set glaze.

- Ham should reach 140°F when tested with a meat thermometer.

- On stovetop or microwave, heat remaining glaze to serve with ham and pineapple, if desired.
