Cinnamon Syrup

Recipe - Cinnamon Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water 
  • 1 cup granulated sugar 
  • 2 (3-inch) cinnamon sticks

Directions

  1. In a small saucepan over medium-high, heat water until boiling. Add sugar and stir until dissolved. 
  2. Add cinnamon sticks and cook 2 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool 2 hours.  
  3. Place in an airtight container and refrigerate. Leave cinnamon sticks in syrup for added flavor. Syrup can be added to coffee or tea with half and half, if desired. 

Serves: 1
