Cheddar Baked Hash Browns
Ingredients
Recommended Hamilton Beach® Product: Roaster Ovens
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 bag (2 lbs.) frozen hash browns, totally thawed
- 8 oz. grated cheddar cheese (2 cups)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 small onion, chopped
Directions
- Preheat Roaster Oven to 350°F.
- Pour melted butter into 2-quart casserole dish. Tilt dish to coat bottom and sides.
- Combine remaining ingredients and pour into casserole dish. Place dish on insert rack in roaster oven and bake for 45 minutes.
Serves: 8-10
Success Tip:
Thaw frozen hash browns in the bag in the refrigerator for 5-6 hours or overnight.
Substitution:
Instead of mushroom soup, the same size can of cream of potato soup may be used.
