Forklift Operator - 1st Shift, Olive Branch, Mississippi

Hamilton Beach Brands, Inc. is a leading designer, marketer, and distributor of small household and commercial appliances.  We are seeking local candidates for the position of Forklift Operator - 1st Shift  located at our Distribution Center in Olive Branch, MS.  

Responsibilities of this position include: 

• Drive a slip-sheet forklift equipped with lifting devices to push, pull, stack or move products      
• Check assigned slip-sheet forklift at beginning of shift to ensure unit is functional      
• Obtain proper documents from supervisor or lead person indicating priority of work assignments      
• Review reports/orders/customer instructions to ensure proper handling of product      
• Monitor assigned areas of the warehouse for damaged product/pallets      
• Ensure production standards are maintained      
• Must be able to work in a team environment     
• Other duties as assigned by Distribution Management Team             

Basic Qualifications of this position include: 

• HS Diploma is required      
• Minimum 1 year of experience driving a slip-sheet forklift
• Warehouse Management System experience desired; HighJump experience highly desired
