HR Generalist – Recruiting and HR Data Management

We are seeking qualified candidates for an HR Generalist at our Corporate Headquarters in Glen Allen, Virginia.  We’re seeking a dynamic individual with hands on human resources generalist experience including full-cycle recruiting and onboarding, management of employee records, and program administration.

Responsibilities of the position include:

  • Working as part of a team, manage full cycle recruiting for HQ staffing
  • Provide support for Global Staffing
  • Manage temporary staffing needs
  • Manage HR data and employee records
  • Participate in new hire orientation and onboarding programs
  • Support employee development and training needs
  • Support Employee Recognition and Employee Activity Programs
  • Provide employee relations support

Requirements of the position include:

  • 4-year degree in HR management or equivalent education and experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an HR Generalist with experience in a variety of HR functions
  • Working knowledge of Affirmative Action and employee onboarding methods are desirable skills
  • Must have full cycle recruiting experience including strong online skills; ADP WorkforceNow Recruiting and LinkedIn experience are highly desirable
  • Hands-on experience with an HRIS; ADP WorkforceNow experience highly desirable
  • Must have demonstrated work history that supports the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, organizational and presentation skills are required
  • Work experience must include the ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong skills and abilities with MS Office Suite are required
