We are seeking qualified candidates for a Financial Analyst opportunity at our Corporate Headquarters in Glen Allen, Virginia.  The Financial Analyst will be heavily involved in detailed processes that drive planning/forecasting, variance analysis and the reporting of results. Objectives include working with many people throughout the organization to plan, forecast, and report financial results with an understanding of variances versus plan and prior year.

Responsibilities of the position include:

  • Manage key elements of five-year planning processes and quarterly plan updates, including preparing and maintaining planner websites and other inputs
  • Month-end and quarter-end responsibilities, including:
    • Load and reconcile data from ERP system into FP&A system for planning, forecasting, variance analysis and reporting
    • Assist in preparation of reporting packages for management
  • Work with auditors to answer their questions and supply information pertaining to planning and forecasting processes
  • Ad hoc reporting and special projects

Requirements of the position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field; MBA is a plus
  • 1 - 2 years finance/accounting experience
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail and thoroughness
  • Must have strong computer skills
  • Must have advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience using IBM’s TM1 planning software is a plus
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to research and gather data from various departments
