We are seeking qualified candidates for a Digital Marketing Business Development Manager opportunity at our Corporate Headquarters in Glen Allen, Virginia.  The Digital Marketing Business Development Manager will enhance the productivity of the Commercial Division known as Hamilton Beach Commercial, which markets products to the food service and hospitality industries, through execution of our global digital strategy as well as the development of a competitive strategy of the future.

Responsibilities of the position include: 

  • Expand our digital footprint globally, run point and orchestrate the numerous moving parts for our global Commercial partners in our Top 15 Target Markets, including the US
  • Operate independently, developing proactive plans for our partners to improve domestic and international digital marketing efforts, and then coordinate external and internal resources to execute those plans
  • Manage all aspects of international HBC websites as assigned to drive engagement and awareness to constituents around the world, and maximize website traffic and sales
  • Manage tactical CRM and marketing automation efforts
  • Build campaigns to improve sales, communications, and customer engagement
  • Drive execution of our global digital strategy
  • Work with Digital Marketing professionals to steer International digital advertising and facilitate translation and localization of marketing content
  • Facilitate digital content and efforts on behalf of regional and divisional managers as well as international distributors
  • Manage sales, rep, and dealer inquiries, support, and communications
  • Facilitate translation and assist in localizing various training
  • Orchestrate and manage outside vendor proposals, agreements, and invoicing
  • Leverage pre-existing processes and tools to serve as traffic coordinator for international digital efforts in conjunction with Digital Manager – Global Commercial
  • Budget Management


Requirements of the position include: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Communications, Digital Marketing, or Website Development/Marketing
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years direct experience with global content development, strategy, tactics, and management focused on revenue generation; web marketing, working with web developers, creative departments, and marketing teams
  • Demonstrated experience managing international content translation, utilizing translation management tools and services, as well as an understanding of the nuances of international digital marketing is helpful
  • Experience with international content development strategy and digital marketing management, preferably in a B2B industry, to include web marketing, website CMS production, marketing automation, video production working with web developers, creative departments, and marketing teams
  • Management experience in social media applications, CMS, basic HTML development, CRM and email marketing programs
  • Core technical skills to support digital strategies. Basic understanding of video production, Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop, Marketing Automation Technology, and analytical tools such as Google Analytics

The successful candidate will have proven ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-focused environment and be able to support multiple tasks with simultaneous priorities. He or she must be a dedicated, creative, results driven self-starter with a strong work ethic and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
