We are seeking qualified candidates for a Digital Advertising, eCommerce Manager opportunity at our Corporate Headquarters in Glen Allen, Virginia for the Commercial division.  The Digital Advertising, eCommerce Manager’s primary focus is to manage and execute digital advertising campaigns both in the U.S. and internationally on major advertising mediums/networks with the objectives of driving brand and product awareness, target audience engagement, as well as leads and sales of Commercial products.   

Responsibilities of the position include: 

  • Manage advertising and eCommerce sales on the HamiltonBeachCommercial.com (HBC) website, Amazon and other online marketplaces and properties, including providing consultation and support to distributor and dealer eCommerce sites around the world.   
  • Manage U.S. and International Food Service and Hospitality Digital Advertising Campaigns and SEM on Primary Digital Ad Networks including Google, Facebook and LinkedIn. 
  • Manage social media engagement in concert with U.S. and International digital marketing managers and content developers on all primary social properties.  
  • Drive engagement, promotion, and sales of eCommerce transactions for HBC websites, Amazon, and related marketplaces on behalf of HBC. 
  • Manage all aspects of HBC digital marketing analytics including reports, presentations, and to the extent possible measurements of attribution, as well as competitive analysis. Continually improving awareness, digital marketing engagement, and eCommerce sales; uncovering opportunities to improve metrics, maximize ROI, and drive conversions.  
  • Continually improve eCommerce sales and profitability of transactions on HBC-owned/managed websites with the ultimate objective of increasing the lifetime value of and sales to HBC direct customers.
  • Present metrics to the HBC management team as well as consulting and advising on pivots. 

Requirements of the position include: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Marketing or Web Technology or equivalent experience  
  • 5+ years of Google, Facebook, and LinkedIn advertising experience with substantial budgets both in the U.S. and Internationally 
  • Google Analytics Certified, plus in-depth experience with other analytics toolsets; Data Visualization such as PowerBI and/or Tableau desired
  • In-depth marketing automation experience required; HubSpot certified preferred
  • Demonstrated eCommerce website management; WooCommerce and Shopify platform experience ideal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint 
  • B2B experience with layered distribution model preferred; ideally Amazon advertising experience 

The successful candidate will have the proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and internal/external partners to meet business goals for advertising and eCommerce. They will be a highly motived self-starter with strong decision-making skills, and someone who can work autonomouslywith agilityand meet multiple deadlines.  Further, they must also be someone who can bring a level of confidence to the job in order to make solid and well thought out strategic recommendations.
